| V:XV formed in early 2005 as a 3-piece (Si, Billy & Nicol) to initially air some left-over songs that never reached Si & Nicol's previous band The Score. The resultant demo sparked some interest and later in the year the guys played their first gig supporting Rick Witter (Shed 7) and also recorded a track for the Fat Hippy Records Sampler Vol 1 CD.

| The thought of playing a whole gig on Lead Vox & Guitar duties scared the shit out of Simon so after years of drunken chats and promises of jamming together, he enlisted Carl (Ex Star, Phonefreak) to take on some of the guitar work. |
